ARUM ’STREAKED SPECTRE’

PARENTAGE:

Putatively Arum italicum × Arum maculatum. The leaves show the influence of both parents, but the cross has never been formally recorded and no breeder or date is known.

DESCRIPTION:

Very large leaves with variable patches of silvering.

NOTES:

1. Published at genus level, as Arum without a species epithet. Monksilver Nursery attributes selections of this kind to the influence of both Arum italicum and Arum maculatum, so the plant is likely of hybrid origin; its parentage has not been established.¹
