AMORPHOPHALLUS EXCENTRICUS × AMORPHOPHALLUS KRAUSEI

PARENTAGE:

Amorphophallus excentricus × Amorphophallus krausei

HYBRIDIZER:

Steve Jackson

DESCRIPTION:

Steve Jackson's plant flowered for the first time in December 2015, which he reported as the first flowering of this hybrid, at least in Australia; he judged that it had probably taken more after Amorphophallus krausei.¹ It flowered again in November 2016, when he noted that the patterning on the petioles was turning out to be a highlight of the hybrid.²

NOTES:

1. Steve Jackson: Amorphophallus excentricus (ovule) × Amorphophallus krausei (pollen); reported 2014.²,⁴
