(AMORPHOPHALLUS TINEKEAE × (AMORPHOPHALLUS GIGAS × AMORPHOPHALLUS DECUS-SILVAE)) × (AMORPHOPHALLUS VARIABILIS × AMORPHOPHALLUS LAMBII)

PARENTAGE:

(Amorphophallus tinekeae × (Amorphophallus gigas × Amorphophallus decus-silvae)) × (Amorphophallus variabilis × Amorphophallus lambii)

HYBRIDIZER:

Steve Jackson

DESCRIPTION:

A cross of five species: Craig Allen's Amorphophallus tinekeae × (Amorphophallus gigas × Amorphophallus decus-silvae) by Steve Jackson's Amorphophallus variabilis × Amorphophallus lambii. It first flowered in September 2025 in Alexander Egan's collection, who recorded the seed parent as Amorphophallus tinekeae × (Amorphophallus decus-silvae × Amorphophallus gigas) and credited the line to Jackson, the late Alan Galloway and Craig Allen. That plant flowered while it was in leaf, which he noted as most unusual.¹

NOTES:

1. Steve Jackson: (Amorphophallus tinekeae × (Amorphophallus gigas × Amorphophallus decus-silvae)) (ovule) × (Amorphophallus variabilis × Amorphophallus lambii) (pollen); reported 2025.¹
