STORY:

STORY TITLE: One seedling in a batch

William Rotolante crossed a small-form Monstera deliciosa 'Borsigiana Aurea', as the seed parent, with a green small form known as 'Borsigiana'. Of all the seedlings, one alone came up with a milky yellow to creamy white variegation on dark green leaves and colored streaks on its stems; it has since been propagated from cuttings many times, by the originator and by others, and the variegation has stayed stable. Like most small forms it has long internodes.¹ The name is for the color of the variegation, the creamy shade of key lime pie; it was released in 2024.¹
