NOTES:

STATUS - A market name. Not yet accepted by the International Aroid Society. As of September 2026 the IAS Aroid Cultivar Registry holds no record of this name at all - neither accepted nor declined - and there is no plant patent. The name is recorded from nursery and trade sources and is not validly established.

1. Costa Farms sells the plant as Scindapsus Platinum Java, listed as Scindapsus sp. Platinum f. Java without a species name, and notes that it is occasionally confused with 'Silver Hero', a distinct cultivar; Steve's Leaves offers an 'Exotica Platinum' with larger, more intensely silvered heart-shaped leaves than 'Argyraeus'.¹,²,³,⁴

2. A Natural Curiosity describes shiny, waxy leaves that are more green than gray.⁵
