SYNGONIUM PODOPHYLLUM 'THREE KINGS'

ORIGIN:

Thai trade, c. 2005; published as 'Magic Marble' by Asiatica Nursery, 2006–2007 catalog (unconfirmed)

NOTES:

1. The North Carolina Extension plant toolbox lists 'Three Kings' among the cultivars of the species.²

2. Unconfirmed: Narrowly arrow-shaped leaves with a long acuminate tip, boldly splashed and mottled white, often over more than half the blade. Hatch treats 'Magic Marble', published by Asiatica Nursery in its 2006–2007 catalog for a clone from the Thai trade of about 2005, as the earliest valid name, with 'Three Kings' and 'Jade Ghost' as later synonyms; the plant is widely sold in the United States as 'Three Kings'.¹
