4. Reported in the Amorphophallus Facebook group: Tony Avent showed the plant in July 2024 as the selection made from Alan Galloway's A. konjac 'Shredded Umbrellas' × A. albus cross.²
STORY:
STORY TITLE: A clone named for Alan Galloway
Among the Amorphophallus konjac selections the late Alan Galloway loved was a Dutch cut-leaf selection that Juniper Level acquired decades earlier and named 'Shredded Umbrellas'.¹ In the last years of his life he crossed it with Amorphophallus albus, and Juniper Level selected one clone from that cross and named it in his honor.¹
