AMORPHOPHALLUS KIUSIANUS 'MR. GREEN GENES'

ORIGIN:

A seedling selected by Plant Delights Nursery in 2005 and introduced in 2018

CULTIVAR DESCRIPTION:

A selection of Amorphophallus kiusianus with foliage like the typical plant but a green rather than black spadix and a green-and-white speckled rather than purple-and-white spathe.¹ The inflorescence appears in late April or early May in North Carolina, and Plant Delights says the species flowers every other year.¹
