SYNGONIUM PODOPHYLLUM 'BOB WHITE'

ORIGIN:

Vanderlaan Brothers, Lake Worth, Florida (Dan H. Vanderlaan); US Plant Patent PP9,894, 1997

CULTIVAR DESCRIPTION:

Leaves almost entirely greenish white, with far fewer green markings than either 'White Butterfly' or its parent 'Lemon Lime', on a compact, freely branching, non-vining plant that keeps its pale coloring as it ages. It needs about 5 percent longer than 'Lemon Lime' to reach saleable size.¹

NOTES:

1. Found in February 1993 by Dan H. Vanderlaan of Lake Worth, Florida, as an unusual mutation among tissue-culture-derived plants of 'Lemon Lime', evaluated at Lake Placid from 1994 and patented for Vanderlaan Brothers on 13 May 1997 as US Plant Patent PP9,894.¹
