SCINDAPSUS PICTUS 'SILVER SATIN'

CULTIVAR DESCRIPTION:

Shimmering dark green leaves with shiny silver spots and edges in more random splashes and speckles than the other cultivars, the leaf shape like that of 'Exotica'; Wikipedia describes the majority of the foliage as a bright silvery white.¹,²,³

NOTES:

STATUS - A market name. Not yet accepted by the International Aroid Society. As of September 2026 the IAS Aroid Cultivar Registry holds no record of this name at all - neither accepted nor declined - and there is no plant patent. The name is recorded from nursery and trade sources and is not validly established.

1. Satin pothos, silver pothos and silver vine are the common names of the species itself, so the cultivar name is easily confused with the plant in general.²
